Job details:

  • Carrying out service operations in heavy industry and others
  • Providing application-technological advice to clients
  • Application-technological support for sales operations
  • Customer correspondence, customer support
  • Development of requirement profiles for new products
  • Regular strategic and operational planning for the assigned area of responsibility (incl. project planning)
  • Initiation and support of new product development and product refinement
  • Handling of complaints concerning product characteristics and applications
  • Collaboration in the launch of new products
  • Advising and/or market observation at trade fairs and exhibitions
  • Regular market analyses and monitoring of the assigned heavy industry markets
  • Identification of existing potentials in heavy industry in the respective countries
  • Cultivate contacts and exchange team-building information within the company
  • Assistance in sales planning
  • Introduce a results-oriented and profit-oriented way of thinking
  • Project budgeting in coordination with supervisors
  • Carrying out training courses, customer presentations and meetings
  • Willingness to expand his/her knowledge through training courses
  • Consult clients in the whole CEE region (Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Romania)

The ideal candidate has got mechanical engineering or metallurgy degree, has gained some years of experience in application engineering (engineering, maintenance) inside some manufacturing company (steel, cement, general industry). Machinery as such is his passion. He is looking for an expert role that enables him to talk to industry experts in the region. Personality wise, we look for a modern, communicative person who is confident to talk to real technical experts at clients, at the same time with operators and any related staff. He understands the machines inspection needs good amount of field work to be done and one “gets his hands dirty” while doing that, at the same time he is able to write proper inspection reports and propose the best “cure” for machines. Good English knowledge is a must due to the international nature of the area of responsibility.
