Job Description

Our client is a leading international company operating steel processing centres and distribution warehouses - one of the largest automotive suppliers and a leading manufacturer of high-quality products in this segment. The company is planning a substantial production effectiveness related regional project and we are looking for a candidate, who will be one of the project drivers.

Currently we are looking for

Regional Safety, Health, Environment, Quality (SHEQ) Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing input for the global SHEQ and Automotive strategy, adapting and implementing it according to regional requirements
  • Training and advising the local SHEQ-Manager in regards to standards and methodologies
  • Further developing, adapting and implementing the SHEQ management system in the region; developing if necessary regional processes and standards
  • Supporting the development of global concepts to improve the effective and efficient use of resources and the working conditions
  • Partly participation in the Daily Business

Requirements:

  • University degree in economics or technical science
  • At least 5 years working experience
  • Advanced knowledge of ISO/TS-16949
  • Experience and knowledge in quality management, safety and environment
  • Intercultural understanding; very strong engagement, communication and inter-personal skills; the ability to influence different hierarchical levels
  • Fluent in English with a second language preferred
