Job Description

Our client is a German electric motors producer, with a history of more than 60 years of activity in Europe, and more than 15 years within Romanian market. For their plant, located in the West area of Romania, we are looking for an experienced & motivated Plant Manager, experienced in coordinating the manufacturing operations (production & engineering) for a plant of approx. 100 employees.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

  • Together with the management from Germany, to coordinate the business in Romania;
  • Leadership of subordinate employees: professional and disciplinary;
  • Collaboration in the selection and employment of employees;
  • Implementation of personnel planning;
  • Application for necessary overtime;
  • Permanent instruction of the employees with the objectives;
  • Increased flexibility of use compliance with the prescribed quality;
  • Compliance with the prescribed performance level;
  • Compliance with and observance of health and safety requirements, including the annual notification (legal requirement);
  • Compliance with and observance of environmental and environmental requirements;
  • Continuous monitoring of default, working and break times to plan and implement training measures to ensure the medium and long-term qualifications of the employees;
  • Performance assessment of employees;
  • Responsible for all transmitted work and related monitoring functions;
  • Elaboration of proposals and cooperation in the design of new and / or improvement of existing production methods, work procedures, work processes and work systems;
  • Planning of maintenance and monitoring of equipment;
  • Involvement in investment planning cooperation in the selection and introduction of investments;
  • Ensuring and adhering to the QM system;
  • Supervise the general environmental, work accident prevention and work safety regulations;
  • Collaboration in the definition of training and further training requirements.


  • Production/ Engineering / Plant Management experience;
  • Knowledge of work planning and working time studies;
  • Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing and / or electrical engineering;
  • Continuous improvement mind-set; willingness to continue professional training;
  • Languages: English; German would be a plus.
