Job Description

Our Client - an international organization with well-known brand name, has production company located in North Poland, employing over 500 people. The company produces the technical equipment, based on advanced technology. Currently, due to reorganization of the structure, the company is looking for:

General Manager


  • Responsible for creation and implementation of the company strategy
  • Participating in decision-making regarding the direction of the company development
  • Responsibility for P&L of the company
  • Supports the daily work of managers directly reporting to the position
  • Direct supervision of departmental work, including periodic analysis of achievement of goals by individual departments, control of feasibility and effectiveness of current tasks and tending to their optimization
  • Maintains the expected quality of the production by monitoring and by enforcing organization standards.
  • Makes decision concerning the people management, including recruitment for major position and team development
  • Supervises the creation of annual financial plans and their implementation
  • Participation in investment decisions
  • Represents the company outside - creates the company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and enforcing ethical business practices


  • University degree ( preferably managerial or technical profile)
  • MBA degree will be a plus
  • Fluent knowledge of English
  • Minimum 10 years of practical experience, including at least 5 years of experience in senior management positions ( as general manager, managing director or similar) in production companies , preferably in international organization
  • Successful in the previous companies
  • Ability of conceptual and strategic thinking, good understanding of financial aspects of the company operation
  • High business credibility (confirmed by references)
  • Charismatic with strong leadership qualities, persuasive personality, natural leader
  • High interpersonal competences
  • The ability to make important decisions, based on a thorough analysis of the situation and predicting consequences in the short and long term
  • Ability to deal with emergencies and the ability to successfully overcome them
