Job Description

Our client is an important and constantly developing industrial player, an international company, with modern working and management systems. In Romania, our client is present for over 10 years, opening now the Finance Manager position, at the country management board level.


Main responsibilities and tasks:

  • Leading a team of ten qualified people;
  • Fully responsible for the financial legal and IFRs Accounting (general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, multiple branches, preparing statutory accounts, yearly closes etc.);
  • Tax management & reporting: VAT declaration, profit tax declaration, transfer pricing documentation, miscellaneous Romanian declarations;
  • Financial and Management / Group reporting;
  • Controlling responsibility (finance, industrial, sales/ commercial, margins) – including internal controlling (compliance to the corporate’s procedures);
  • Supervising and control all the Romanian affiliates, from finance area of activity;
  • Business intelligence and IT responsibility (for the finance area);
  • Supervising and manages / being a point of contact for 3rd parties partners/ authorities: banks, auditors, tax authorities, payroll & social issues, insurance, legal;
  • Making the yearly accounts;
  • Following up all key parameters of the company;
  • Being an active part of a management board; Regular interaction and communication with the headquarter;



  • University degree, preferable accounting / financial / economical degree
  • MBA is an asset
  • SAP expertise
  • Experience in modern business administration
  • Work Experience in a multinational organizational climate; used with matrix structured companies
  • Team working

  • Good coach, being able to deal with people
  • Advanced / Fluent in English



Central Romania; willing to travel occasionally (less than 30%).
