Logistics Coordinator
Job Description

Our client, a multinational key player on the FMCG market, is now looking for a Logistics Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the storage and distribution of goods via 3PL;
  • Monitoring deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate logs of all transportation and goods;
  • The role requires close cross functional interaction with customers, planning, finance, and IS;
  • Monitor, lead the 3PL / Distributors operational activities;
  • Ensure products in inventory are managed, picked, loaded and shipped-out in line with operational targets;
  • Lead Embellishment operations as part of or supporting Warehouse management;
  • Preparing logistic reports;
  • Analyzing current logistic problems;
  • Drive operating efficiencies, cost savings, and improvements within the supply chain;
  • Manage and monitor KPI’s and overall performance;
  • Accurately assesses strength and development needs of subordinates. Provides development assignments and plans to achieve high performance, including the annual PDR process;

Day to Day Activities:

  • Tracking/monitoring 3PL embellishment activities;
  • Prepares new embellishment activities by working with PIS and WO tracker;
  • Prepares work orders for confirmed embellishments in operating systems and verifying in BOM if the components have been correctly transferred between locations;
  • Informs internal clients about 3PL future transports;
  • Communicates to Customer Service 3PL products availability;
  • Solves issues related to: transporters’ reservations, downloads, changes or updates of logistic
  • data;
  • Creates BOM in JDE;
  • Tests new embellishments, price negotiation with 3PL, testing pallets (weekly visits to
  • 3PL);
  • DDN analysis support;
  • Continuous verification of promotional materials stock and productions;
  • Draws reports and personalized analysis on special request, only with the approval of direct manager;
  • Price setting, PIS packaging and TDS code creation;
  • Communicates to Accounting new TDS codes and PIS for creating JDE embellished code product;
  • Updates Distribution and 3PL plans;
  • Establishes new embellishments timings;
  • Fills in and updates the data of 3PL with new embellishment codes and their logistics;
  • Weekly validates co packing and 3PL warehousing invoices;
  • Establishes production plans for next week and send files to FM Logistic;
  • Transfers EMb data into JDE;
  • Validates freight invoices;
  • Introduces in stock the promotional materials;
  • Monthly validates 3PL logistic services invoices;
  • Monthly validates Warehousing and Co packing final invoice;

Skills:

  • Educated to bachelors degree level ideally in Finance/Supply Chain Management;
  • Prior experience in the Supply Chain area is considered a plus especially if in Logistic area for a minimum 4 years;
  • Good knowledge of supply chain model, supporting for a good understanding of possible issues/opportunities;
  • Good understanding of systems usage (mainly JDE) or other WMS systems(SAP would be an advantage);
  • Computer skills – Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook;
  • Fluency in English is essential;
  • Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating;
  • Ambitious finance person with very good analytical, organization and communication skills.
